Which biometric machine should I buy for my library?
The eSSL K90 Pro is the machine we recommend for most libraries. It is a fingerprint machine, it is the one we have tested the longest with My Abhyasika, and it is the cheapest way to start. The eSSL X990 is the same idea in a different body.
Do face recognition machines work with My Abhyasika?
The face machines listed here connect to My Abhyasika and their fingerprint side works today. Face enrollment — sending a student's photo to the machine — is still being verified on real hardware, so buy a face machine only after messaging us.
Do I need a computer at the library for the biometric machine?
No. The machine only needs internet — a LAN cable or WiFi. It talks to My Abhyasika directly, so no computer, no software install and nothing to keep switched on at the library.
I already have a biometric machine. Will it work?
If it is an eSSL or ZKTeco machine with a Cloud Server (ADMS) setting, it very likely works even if the model is not on this list. Message us with the brand and model printed on the machine and we will tell you before you change anything.
